Wolfgang Sauter

Wolfgang Sauter might rightly be called the “heart and soul” of the Stadtmuseum. His connection with the museum dates back to 1962, when he took on the job of curator on a voluntary basis. The development of key collections such as those of the crucifixes and glass paintings was entirely his achievement. In addition to this, he is responsible for the photographic documentation of the collection items.
