Petra Weber M.A.

On 1 March 2014, art historian Petra Weber followed Dr. Astrid Pellengahr as curator of the Stadtmuseum. She joined the museum team in January 2012 and was initially responsible for museum education. As curator of the Stadtmuseum she is responsible for temporary exhibitions and events as well as the day-to-day running of the museum.

Isolde Walter

Since April 2024, Isolde Walter has been supporting the director of the museum.
Her responsibilities include administrative tasks, tasks in the organisation of events as well as in marketing and public relations.
In additon to the administration, Isolde Walter also partly works at the front desk of the museum.

Herta Socher

Ms. Socher had been working for the museum since the reopening until her retirement. Since then she has voluntarily taking further care of organisational tasks for the „Freundeskreis des Stadtmuseums“ and has been helping in the museum administration and in the depot.

Volunteer Service „Bundesfreiwilligendienst“

Every year from autum to summer, the museum team is joined by a young person who volunteers for a year in the museum. During that time they learn about the tasks in a museum and support the museum staff.
