How to find us

By car: Approaching the town on the B12, take the Kaufbeuren exit and follow the signs for the town centre (Stadtmitte).
Please note that the Stadtmuseum is located in the pedestrianised town centre and there is no parking available for cars or buses. We recommend parking at the multi-storey car park “Parkhaus Süd” and walking through the picturesque medieval streets to the museum.

From Parkhaus Süd: Leaving the car park, take the Innere Buchleuthe and cross Schraderstraße. Follow Am Breiten Bach for about 400 metres and turn right into Kaisergäßchen.

By train: The museum is situated about one kilometre from the railway station. Follow the “Stadtmuseum” signs and enjoy the walk through the Jordan Park on the way.

The Stadtmuseum Kaufbeuren is signposted from all parts of the Old Town.
